Job summary
Cayenta, a division of Harris, is seeking a Technical Consultant with strong hands-on Oracle Database Administration experience to join our Managed Services team. This remote role focuses on administering Oracle 19c databases, RAC, Data Guard, Grid Infrastructure, and ASM on RHEL/Oracle Linux to ensure availability and recoverability for customer environments.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Oracle 19c experience with RAC and Data Guard.
- Production experience managing Oracle RAC clusters and high-availability operations.
- Experience with Oracle Grid Infrastructure, Clusterware, and ASM.
- Experience on RHEL/Oracle Linux environments; shell scripting skills.
- Strong SQL performance tuning and use of Oracle diagnostic tools.
- Experience with RMAN backup/recovery and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Oracle 19c databases and RAC environments.
- Manage Data Guard standby databases and perform switchover/failover activities.
- Patch, upgrade, and maintain Grid Infrastructure, Clusterware, and ASM.
- Monitor availability, performance, and capacity; troubleshoot using RMAN and diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support after-hours maintenance and on-call work.
