Job summary

Cloud Analytics Technologies, LLC invites an Oracle Database Administrator to join in Dallas for a 9-month engagement. You will install, patch, upgrade, and migrate Oracle databases across Dev, QA, and Production environments, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

You will lead HA/DR activities, perform tuning with AWR/ASH, and coordinate with Linux, storage, and network teams. The role requires weekend/off-hours support and adherence to ITIL/SLA standards.

Qualifications

• DBA operations across Dev/QA/Prod: install, configure, patch, upgrade, refresh, clone, migrate Oracle DBs.
• Performance tuning using AWR/ASH/ADDM and execution plans.
• HA/DR: RAC, ASM, Data Guard; RMAN backups and DR drills.
• Security: manage users/roles/privileges, enforce data policies.
• Production support with ITIL/SLA; weekend/off-hours support.
• Collaborate with app infra/Linux/storage/network teams and maintain SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, refresh, clone, and migrate Oracle databases across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
• Monitor health and optimize database/SQL performance using AWR, ASH, ADDM, and execution-plan analysis.
• Support Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard; manage RMAN backup/recovery, and lead DR drills.
• Manage Oracle users, roles, privileges, profiles, and enforce data security policies.
• Handle incidents, service requests, RCA; provide weekend/off-hours support.
• Partner with application/infrastructure/Linux/storage/network teams; maintain SOPs and doc.
