Job summary

IntelliBee seeks an experienced Oracle Database Administrator in Little Rock, AR. The role focuses on developing and supporting Oracle databases across standalone, client-server, and web-based environments, with emphasis on performance, backup, and security.

You will work in an Agile team modernizing legacy applications, applying upgrades, and collaborating with developers to support reporting and BI needs. Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least five years of relevant experience.
Expert knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgresDB, Amazon RDS/Aurora is highly desirable.
Strong Windows and Linux server operating system skills; familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Monitor, optimize and tune application databases for maximum performance.
Troubleshoot user-reported database issues.
Document and report daily progress, procedures and activities.
Perform daily Oracle database administration including backup and recovery; manage RAC and single instance databases.
