Job summary

CAI is seeking a Database Administrator for an onsite role in Little Rock, AR. The candidate will develop, support, and enhance application relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and related technologies, in a full-time contract environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, tuning, backups, and coordinating software releases. Local candidates with work authorization and no sponsorship needed are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of database administration experience.
• 5+ years of database design experience.
• 3 years of Oracle RAC experience.
• 5 years of SQL Server experience.
• 7 years of backup, recovery, and performance tuning experience.
• 5 years of access security and database integrity experience.
• 5 years of Linux server administration experience.
• 5 years of Windows OS experience.
• 3 years of UI/UX design experience.
• 3 years of Oracle Forms experience.
• 3 years of Oracle Reports experience.
• 3 years of Crystal Reports experience.
• 2 years of Jasper experience.
• 3 years of Business Intelligence experience.
• Knowledge of data design, change/version control, and storage management.
• Experience with cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support application relational databases.
• Assist in development and enhancement of database architecture.
• Monitor, optimize, and tune databases for performance.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide user support.
• Document and report progress and procedures.
• Maintain database and server documentation.
• Perform Oracle DBA tasks including backup and recovery.
• Administer Oracle servers and upgrade Oracle software.
• Coordinate software releases and engage in process improvement.
