A leading IT service provider in Redwood City is seeking an experienced database administrator to support and maintain Oracle databases for IT production systems. The role requires 4+ years of experience in database operations, with strong skills in performance tuning, security, and recovery. Familiarity with UNIX AIX is essential. Training and certifications in EPIC software will be provided. This position demands commitment to 24x7 support for critical database systems.

• Support and maintain Oracle databases for IT production systems.

Job description

Support and maintain Oracle databases within enterprise providing 24x7x365 support for IT production database systems

Responsible for performance tuning, stability, availability, security, backup and recovery, maintenance, data integrity and space requirements for all production database systems within the environment

Should have 4+ years of experience in database operations including design, administration, programming and support of RDBM's, MS SQL, Oracle and Cache

Must have strong RAC and clustering

Must have UNIX AIX experience

Will provide training and certifications for EPIC software
