Top Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience as an Oracle database Administrator with a strong working knowledge of Operational/Systems DBA to set up and support Oracle 12c/19c databases in RAC and Non-RAC environments on IBM Power (AIX) Systems
• Candidates must have experience working in AIX systems and support of Oracle DBs on AIX systems. 70% application work as DBA, 30% patching and upgrades
• Strong experience troubleshooting application issues and performance tuning (will work on a large claims system with over 100 Terabytes of data)
• Any exposure to cloud, they will manage a small environment in Oracle Cloud (OCI) no active migrations
