Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Database Administrator (Oracle)

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Pay: $60-70/hr W2 ONLY - NO C2C

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration, performance engineering, and experience with Oracle migrations. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage large-scale database environments and contribute to continuous performance improvements across the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, manage, and optimize Oracle database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Lead and support database performance tuning and capacity planning initiatives.
Execute Oracle migration strategies and support complex data migration projects.
Administer database systems including upgrades, patches, and security configurations.
Support GoldenGate configuration and migration efforts for real-time replication and data integration projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, working closely with application and infrastructure teams.
Develop and maintain database documentation, processes, and best practices.
Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security across all database environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

6+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration – Required
6+ years of experience in Performance Engineering – Required
6+ years of experience in Oracle Migration – Preferred
4–6 years of experience with Oracle GoldenGate Configuration – Preferred
4–6 years of experience with Oracle GoldenGate Migration – Preferred

Nice to Have:

Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud)
Familiarity with other database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
Knowledge of automation/scripting tools for database operations
Experience working in DevOps or CI/CD environments
