Concept Plus is seeking an Oracle DBA to support a federal client’s Web/Oracle system in AWS. The role focuses on daily sustainment, database maintenance, security compliance, and capacity planning within a DISA/STIG environment.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active Secret Clearance
• 3 years of DBA experience (Oracle) and infrastructure software development
• 1+ years Database management in an AWS Cloud environment (RDS)
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL
• Experience with Oracle database replication
• Security+ CE or CCNA Security certification required
• Knowledge of AWS and/or OCI related technologies and utilities
• BA/BS preferred, can be replaced by additional experience

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the database and configuration on each database server and/or Cloud One, or any other hosting area
• Updating and tracking TCNOs and NOTAMS related to database support
• Coordinating firewall access to maintain mainframe/server accessibility for users and interfaces
• Coordinating release schedules with the PMO and interfacing partners
• Installing new maintenance releases of client applications
• Resolving system anomalies
• Developing database strategies, monitoring, and performance improvements
• Complying with DISA STIGs
• Preparing software release packages to migrate to newer versions of COTS
• Modifying the database structure based on approved changes
• Maintaining schemas, processes, and subprocesses for reports
• Facilitating backups and data restoration
• Preparing databases for testing (CV&I, QT&E, etc.)
• Support audit compliance reviews with data-calls and PBC responses
• Develop IaC scripts for database solutions

Concept Plus is seeking an Oracle DBA to provide technical support to a federal clients' systems. The primary focus is daily sustainment for a Web/Oracle system architecture in AWS.

What you'll do

• Maintaining the database and configuration on each database server and/or Cloud One, or any other hosting area, the Government deems fit
• Maintaining system configuration if third party software is utilized on the hosting environments Updating and tracking Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNOs) and if applicable, NOTAMS related to database support
• Coordinating firewall access to maintain mainframe/server accessibility for users and interfaces
• Coordinating release schedules with the PMO and interfacing partners
• Installing new maintenance releases of client applications
• Resolving system anomalies
• Developing database strategies, system monitoring, and improvements to database performance and capacity, and plan for future requirements
• Complying with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
• Preparing software release packages to migrate to newer versions of COTS (hardware or software)
• Modifying the database structure based on approved software changes
• Maintaining, updating, and ensuring the schema. Processes, and subprocesses that are required for reports from the Propulsion Actuarial Client Server are available and useable by the Propulsion community 100% of the time to ensure all data analysis, forecasting, and other requirements can be always fulfilled
• Facilitating backups; ensure data is accurate and complete if restored from a backup; and assist with the backup restoration
• Preparing databases to be used in testing to include but not limited to Component Validation and Integration (CV&I), Qualification Test and Evaluation (QT&E), performance testing, user-acceptance testing, and regression testing
• Support customer with audit compliance reviews with task like data-calls and PBC responses
• Develop Infrastructure as Code(IaC) scripts for database related solutions

Required Qualifications

• US Citizen with active Secret Clearance
• BA/BS preferrable, can be replaced by additional experience
• 3 years of DBA experience (Oracle) and Infrastructure software development
• 1+ years Database management in an AWS Cloud environment (RDS)
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL
• Experience with Oracle database replication
• Security+ CE or CCNA Security certification required
• Knowledge of AWS and/or OCI related technologies and utilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Certified Professional for 11g or above
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Have AWS Cloud One or AWS Gov Cloud experience
