Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to install, administer, and support Oracle databases across environments in Columbus, OH. You will build and troubleshoot Oracle RAC environments, manage Data Guard configurations, and perform backups, restores, and migrations to ensure production readiness.

You will partner with senior Oracle DBA resources on modernization efforts and cross-train into Microsoft SQL Server as you ramp.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of Oracle DBA experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Linux administration experience.
• Hands-on Oracle RAC installation, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience building and supporting Oracle RAC clusters.
• Oracle Data Guard experience.
• Linux shell scripting experience.
• Experience with Oracle database backup, recovery, and database refreshes.
• Ability to troubleshoot RAC node failures, heartbeat, and interconnect issues.
• Strong understanding of Oracle running on Linux environments; Microsoft SQL Server experience.
• Experience with database automation.
• Experience supporting large enterprise Oracle environments.
