Job summary

Stratyx in Maryland seeks an experienced Oracle Data Steward / Oracle Database Developer to ensure data quality, governance, and security while developing Oracle database solutions. The role combines data stewardship with PL/SQL development, data migration, and performance tuning.

You will collaborate with business users, data owners, developers, and DBAs to ensure accurate, reliable, and compliant data across enterprise systems, with a focus on Oracle 19c and cloud migration initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Oracle Database development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Data Steward maintaining quality, integrity, consistency, and security of enterprise data.
• Develop, test, and maintain Oracle database applications and PL/SQL packages.
• Plan, execute data migration strategies including ETL/ELT between source and target systems.
• Analyze and optimize SQL/PLSQL performance and ensure database security controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data owners, and admins to define data mappings and governance.
