Job summary

NTT DATA Americas is seeking a Data Engineer for a hybrid on-site role in Jersey City, NJ. You will develop Oracle SQL/PLSQL, build ETL processes with Informatica, and implement Jenkins-based version control and GitOps practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of expert knowledge writing complex SQL using Oracle.
• 5+ years of Oracle PL/SQL (stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers).
• 5+ years of scripting/automation with Unix and Python in a data engineering environment.
• 6+ years of experience with Oracle relational databases and performance tuning.
• 5+ years of using GitHub for source control in data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex SQL, PL/SQL, procedures, functions, and triggers in Oracle.
• Build and maintain ETL workflows with Informatica PowerCenter across sources.
• Apply version control practices with Jenkins, GitHub and GitOps.
• Create automation scripts in Python and Unix shell for data processing.
• Schedule batch jobs using Control-M and AutoSys for reliable processing.
• Support BI/reporting by delivering optimized data structures for OBIEE/OAS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Document data flows, ETL mappings, deployment procedures and operations.
