Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Oracle CPQ Developer to architect, build, and support enterprise CPQ solutions that integrate with Salesforce CRM, MDM, and PLM.

You will design, code, and deploy scalable CPQ configurations with a strong emphasis on documentation, testing, and production stability. The role requires 3+ years in CPQ development and enterprise programming, with a hands-on approach and collaboration across business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM-related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle CPQ Enterprise solution development, CPQ Site management, Admin (Configuration, Commerce, Document Designer, Document Engine, Data Tables, BML, BMQL, JET UI, REST API Services).
• 3+ years in Enterprise programming (Python, Java, .Net, C#).
• 3+ years with release management and change management experience.
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive outcomes, including responding to production related outages and issues.
• Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with performance tuning and scalable architecture design.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Enterprise and Solution Architects, and cross-functional business stakeholders to understand requirements and design scalable Oracle CPQ solutions.
• Analyze use cases and user stories; perform code review and troubleshooting; implement CPQ solutions and customizations.
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain Oracle CPQ solutions, REST/SOAP APIs, BMQL queries, and integrations with CRM/SFA, MDM, PLM.
• Create and maintain technical documentation; develop unit tests; ensure coding standards and change management.
• Perform release activities across multiple servers with governance and security compliance.
• Provide ongoing production support, incident analysis, and root cause investigations.
