Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an Oracle CPQ Developer to architect, build, integrate, and support enterprise-scale CPQ solutions.

You will work with Sales, Operations, and IT to deliver scalable, high-quality configurations and customizations, including BML scripts, Document Designer logic, and REST/SOAP APIs. This is a hands-on builder role focused on implementation from concept to deployment, production support, and adherence to enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in Oracle CPQ Enterprise solution development.
• 3+ years in Enterprise programming (Python, Java, .Net, C#).
• 3+ years with release management and change management.
• Strong urgency and accountability to drive outcomes.
• Solid OOP concepts and cross-functional interaction.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Team player with proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable Oracle CPQ solutions and customizations.
• Work with CRM (Salesforce), MDM, and PLM integrations to enable business processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and unit tests.
• Lead release activities across multiple servers ensuring governance.
• Provide ongoing production support and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to meet requirements.
