Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Oracle CPQ Technical Developer to architect, develop, and support enterprise CPQ solutions. You will work across Sales, Manufacturing, and Service domains to deliver scalable integrations and customizations, including BML scripts, Document Designer, and API services.

The role requires hands‑on coding, system integration, and production support with a focus on security, governance, and operational excellence. Onsite in Irving, TX with enterprise collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM‑related field.
• 10 years of enterprise integration architecture experience.
• 8 years of Oracle CPQ Enterprise solution development and CPQ Site management.
• 8+ years of JAVA application development (JDBC, Maven, Spring).
• 8+ years of Web development (HTML, JS, CSS).
• 8+ years of Web services (SOAP/REST) and API development.
• 8+ years of Oracle Database (SQL/PLSQL) and data ETL.
• 8+ years in Enterprise programming (Python/Java/.NET/C#).
• 6+ years in release/change management and XML/XSL-FO.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, integrate, and support Oracle CPQ solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable, enterprise‑level CPQ solutions.
• Develop Java middleware, REST/SOAP APIs, and Tomcat environments.
• Ensure governance, security, performance, and standards compliance.
• Coordinate platform upgrades and vendor issue resolution to minimize risk.
• Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Create technical docs, run unit tests, and maintain quality.
