Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 to join the Oracle unit in the United States. The role focuses on Oracle Apps technical work, including PL/SQL development, Oracle Cloud knowledge, and ERP/OBIEE related tasks within a Finance domain.

You will contribute to SDLC activities, perform design discussions, develop code, run tests, and help deploy new features while ensuring system reliability and performance. Willingness to relocate/travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oracle Apps technical and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Oracle cloud.
• Experience in Oracle Applications Development.
• Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Exadata database and ETL processes development experience.
• Experience in Oracle Financials in a corporate environment.
• Experience in Accounting and Financial background knowledge.
• Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payables and Fixed Assets preferred.
• Experience in Oracle ERP, Oracle Cloud Fusion, BIP preferred.
• Experience in implementing or supporting Oracle BIP and OBIEE.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance
• Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository
