Oracle Cloud Solutions Developer (OCI / OIC / Autonomous DB)

OM Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Oracle Cloud Solutions Developer to join our growing technology team, focusing on cloud-native application development and integration within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and related cloud platform services to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise solutions.

This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep knowledge of Oracle’s modern cloud tools and the ability to design and implement solutions that connect data, systems, and business processes across hybrid environments. Federal sector experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions using Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle APEX
• Build and manage integrations between Oracle SaaS, on-premise systems, and third-party apps using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Configure and manage resources within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including database services, object storage, compute, and networking
• Create RESTful services using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) and integrate with external APIs
• Develop data pipelines and ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or OIC
• Write efficient PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions for backend logic
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration and data requirements and document technical designs
• Monitor, test, and tune cloud applications for performance and scalability
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline design, automation, and Oracle Cloud deployments
• Contribute to DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code efforts in OCI

Requirements

• 8+ years of Oracle development experience, including PL/SQL, APEX, or EBS customization
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services
• Proven experience working with Oracle Autonomous Database (ADB)
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) adapters, orchestration, and process automation
• Experience deploying or managing applications in OCI (compute, networking, database, object storage)
• Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and integration best practices
• Understanding of cloud security, user access control, and performance tuning
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Preferred
• Experience with Oracle SaaS (ERP/HCM/SCM Cloud)
• Familiarity with Oracle Visual Builder or Oracle Analytics Cloud
• Experience supporting federal or DoD clients
• Federal security clearance or ability to obtain one
