Our client has an urgent need for a Sr Oracle Cloud Project Manager. Must be willing to work hybrid onsite 2 days/week in Chicago. Onsite is non-negotiable. The client is not paying travel expenses and is looking local only.

Duration: 9 month contract (potential to extend)

Location: Hybrid 2 days onsite in Chicago is required (100% remote is not an option) LOCAL ONLY – they’re not paying travel expenses

Our client is looking for an IL based Senior Project Manager to lead our Oracle Fusion ERP implementation project to start immediately. This is a hands-on role, with strategic oversight responsibilities and is supported by a project officer. This role has a strong delivery focus across:

• Ensuring strong project governance
• Managing RAID, decision & documentation hygiene, and governance forums (steerco, change boards)
• Managing scope, deliverables, schedule, and budget
• Managing reporting and engaging with stakeholders (in and outside the project)
• Manage SI and 3rd party vendors
• Coordinate a small internal project team
• Project Governance: Establish and maintain strong project governance frameworks and processes.
• RAID & Documentation Hygiene: Maintain meticulous logs of risks, actions, issues, decisions (RAID), and ensure documentation is current, complete, and audit ready.
• Governance Forums: Lead and manage all project governance forums including Steering Committees, Change Control Boards, and Executive Reviews.
• Scope, Schedule, & Budget Management: Define, manage, and monitor project scope, key deliverables, milestones, and budget adherence.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Deliver timely and effective reporting and maintain active engagement with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Vendor Management: Manage the Systems Integrator (SI) and third-party vendors to ensure alignment with project goals and performance expectations.
• Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate a small internal cross-functional project team to drive collaboration and accountability.

Must have:

• Must have proven experience delivering multiple Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP projects across Finance & Supply Chain
• 10+ years project management experience in complex ERP/cloud ERP projects
• Able to operate at execution and project leadership levels
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
• Working with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders
