Job summary

Rice University is seeking an Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support cross-enterprise integration solutions. The role focuses on Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/EPM and Oracle Integration Cloud, with a strong emphasis on ownership and stakeholder engagement.

The position is on-site in Houston and offers a salary range of $120,000–$130,000 per year, depending on experience and skills. Overtime is not available for exempt staff under FLSA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years of related experience in application programming or development, with at least 3 years in SQL/PLSQL, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, architect, design, develop, configure, support, and optimize robust integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud services.
• Excellent client-facing skills, gathering requirements and designing complex business application and data integration solutions.
• Translate business processes and requirements into technical integration requirements and design.
• Provide production system support and issue resolution.
• Serve as a project leader for moderate complexity projects.
• Evaluate and implement new features and technologies and integrate them into the computing environment.
• Collaborate with teams on initiatives involving Oracle Analytics Cloud, Salesforce, and analytics reporting.
