Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking an OCI/Cloud Engineering expert to deploy and manage OCI resources, containerized apps, and observability stacks. You will implement logging, dashboards, and SIEM integrations, and optimize Fusion SaaS monitoring.

The role requires strong scripting, on-call readiness, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to maintain performance and security in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services including Compute, Storage, Networking.
• Experience deploying containerized apps with Docker and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
• Strong understanding of OCI observability stack: metrics, logs, traces, dashboards.
• Automation using Terraform to provision OCI resources and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion SaaS monitoring and integrations with SIEM tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot Oracle Fusion application performance and availability (Customer, SCM, Financials, Procurement).
• Set up logging services and create custom OCI dashboards.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for Fusion deployments and enable APM.
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 production support.

Job Description:

• In-depth knowledge of fundamental OCI services, including Compute, Storage (Block, Object, File), and Networking (VCNs, gateways).
• Expertise in deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
• A deep understanding of OCI's observability stack to collect and analyze metrics, logs, and traces. Key services.
• Experience with tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of OCI resources.
• Knowledge of Oracle database systems and other databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL for performance tuning and management.
• Expertise in OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM), Vault, and security services like Cloud Guard.
• Proficiency in coding/scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot Oracle Fusion application performance and availability. This includes a focus on Customer, SCM, Financials, and Procurement modules
• Setup Logging services (using log analytics, connector hub, streaming)
• Custom OCI dashboards for monitoring
• Autonomous database management and monitoring

• while testing and creating monitoring modules and enabling APM for fusion and providing any documentation that we might have for APM enablement in OCI

• Improve CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Fusion application deployments and updates
• Participate in on‑call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical production issues
