Oracle Cloud Financials Principal Consultant

This is a full-time contract position that can be based anywhere in the United States. Travel is required as needed to support client on-site requirements.

What You'll Do

1. Lead functional tracks on Oracle Cloud ERP engagements.
2. Provide expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials modules such as GL, AP, AR, Tax, Collections, Expenses, FA, & CM.
3. Lead Chart of Accounts redesigns, analyze financial reporting needs, and oversee month and year-end closes.
4. Apply sound accounting principles to provide solutions within financial modules.
5. Complete project tasks and deliverables on time, ensuring high-quality documentation.
6. Engage with clients through workshops to define business requirements.
7. Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions for Cloud Financials modules.
8. Document gaps, issues, and solution process flows.
9. Map business processes to Oracle Cloud Applications and configure modules accordingly.
10. Migrate financial data from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud.
11. Prepare functional designs and develop testing scenarios and scripts.
12. Lead testing phases including unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
13. Facilitate knowledge transfer to clients.

What We're Looking For

1. Expertise in core Oracle Cloud ERP Financials modules.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
3. Experience leading Oracle Cloud Applications implementations.
4. At least 5 years of ERP implementation experience, including 2 full cycle implementations as Module Lead.
5. Experience in business process consulting, system testing, and deployment.
6. Knowledge of Budgetary Controls, Encumbrance Accounting, SCM, or PPM is a plus.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment and collaborate effectively with clients and teams.
8. Strong communication skills and proactive attitude.
9. 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
10. Flexibility to travel as required.
