Job summary

The Hackett Group is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Manager to lead client engagements, design solutions, and drive successful Oracle Cloud implementations. You will guide CFOs and senior stakeholders, align business processes with Oracle functionality, and mentor project teams across multiple modules.

Flexible location may be possible with approval; travel expectations vary by project. CPA preferred and a strong accounting/finance background are required.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of business processes across Oracle Cloud Financials modules.
• Demonstrated experience coaching and developing project team members.
• 7+ years of progressive consulting experience with Oracle EBS or Cloud/Fusion.
• 5+ years of related technical or business project experience.
• Two full lifecycle Oracle Cloud/Fusion Financials implementations as a functional lead.
• Proficiency or leadership in three or more Oracle Cloud Financials application modules.

Responsibilities

• Identify business requirements and align them with Oracle Cloud Financials functionality.
• Configure Oracle Cloud Financials applications based on client requirements.
• Develop innovative solutions using Oracle Cloud Financials to address complex business requirements.
• Provide functional leadership and guidance to clients on Oracle best practices and application functionality.
• Deliver thought leadership around industry best practices to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Assist the Practice Manager with proposals, RFPs, and Statements of Work aligned with the scale and scope of the sales cycle and engagement.
• Assist the Practice Manager with project estimating to support profitable delivery.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and vendors.
• Document and perform application setups for test instances.
• Review application setups and configurations with the appropriate client leads and obtain sign-off.
• Identify issues, drive resolution, and help ensure adherence to project schedules.
• Apply knowledge of GAAP, General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and financial reporting.
• Partner with client functional leads to support effective knowledge transfer.
• Provide guidance to client functional leads in the development of training materials and class agendas.
• Lead weekly project status meetings for assigned teams and actively participate in project status and issue meetings.
• Mentor and support project team members, helping strengthen their skills and supporting their professional development.
