About the job you’re considering - Support Lead and Functional SME for Oracle Cloud Finance (AR, AP, GL, Tax)

Preferred location: Local to the Baltimore, MD area or willing to relocate.

This is an opportunity to work on an ADM engagement for a large customer. The job requires your expertise in Oracle Finance Cloud, with specific experience in supporting AR, AP, GL and Tax modules. You will be working closely with business users and IT experts to support Oracle fusion landscape comprising of Oracle Cloud HCM, Finance, PPM modules, 100+ integrations and complex PaaS extensions. The job offers opportunity to show your expertise in bringing efficiencies in business as well as IT processes.

Your role

  • Ensure smooth functioning of Fusion application with Contract to Cash and Record to Report business processes.
  • Work with business users to help troubleshoot issues arising out of customizations and delivered functionality
  • Advise business users on the impacts of adopting newly released features through quarterly patching by Oracle
  • Provides seamless production support by addressing Finance issues or process flaws
  • Liaise with Oracle for any solution issues.

Your skills and experience

  • 8 to 10 years of functional experience supporting Oracle Finance Cloud (AR, AP, GL, Tax) modules
  • Must have experience in handling Oracle Accounting HUB, Bank Integrations
  • Must have knowledge and experience to support PaaS and OIC integrations
  • Should have experience in handling large projects involving multiple BUs, Ledgers, Consolidation and Reporting
  • Oracle PPM Cloud knowledge or willingness to learn is preferred
  • Should have very good knowledge in accounting and able to provide Accounting solutions through Sub Ledger Accounting
  • Must have Oracle Finance Cloud Certification
