Job summary

CyberX Info System in New York is seeking a Cloud Security Consultant to design and oversee security for the PeopleSoft OCI deployment. You will harden, monitor, and align the OCI landing zone with MTA cybersecurity standards while partnering with Application Security, IAM, Network, Data Security, and Cloud Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on security design, engineering, and oversight for PeopleSoft OCI architecture.
• Ensure the environment is hardened, compliant, monitored, and aligned with cybersecurity standards.

Job description

The Cloud Security Consultant will provide hands on security design, engineering, and oversight for the PeopleSoft OCI architecture. This role ensures the environment is hardened, compliant, monitored, and aligned with MTA cybersecurity standards. The consultant will partner with Application Security, IAM, Network, Data Security, and Cloud Engineering teams to deliver a secure OCI landing zone and PeopleSoft deployment.

• Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI):
• Policies, Compartments, Security Zones
• Cloud Security engineering background (Azure/AWS acceptable as secondary).
• CSPM tools (Oracle Cloud Guard, Prisma, Wiz, or similar).
• Experience securing enterprise applications in cloud.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft architecture is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Application Security, DevSecOps, and API security.
• Knowledge of logging/monitoring: SIEM, cloud audit logs, event metrics.
• Ability to collaborate with architecture, DBA, AppSec, IAM, and network teams.
