Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks an Oracle HCM Cloud Lead – Benefits to provide subject matter expertise, advisory, and implementation support across Oracle HCM Cloud Benefits. This full-time role requires travel during critical project phases.

You will lead design workshops, define requirements, and guide configurations across Core HR, Workforce Compensation, and Benefits while coordinating with IBM teams and clients to deliver best-in-class solutions.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of Oracle HCM Cloud Implementation Lead experience in a client-facing advisory/consulting role.
• 5 full life cycle HCM Cloud Implementations, with at least 3 focused on Benefits.
• Current Oracle Cloud Certification in Payroll, Global HR or other HCM Cloud modules is ideal.
• Proven ability to lead, manage and deliver full lifecycle projects from analysis through cutover.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud tools HCM Extracts and HDL is highly preferred.
• Cross-functional knowledge in other Oracle HCM modules (ORC, Time & Labor, Payroll).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a delivery mindset.
• Prior experience leading a project team in a delivery role; required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Functional Expert and Trusted Advisor in Oracle HCM Benefits implementation and support.
• Lead discovery workshops to define business requirements and perform gap analysis.
• Gather and interpret business requirements for Core HR, Workforce Compensation, and Benefits configurations; lead testing events.
• Coordinate integrations and data conversions with Oracle suite modules and other teams.
• Travel during critical project phases as needed to ensure delivery quality.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Currently, we are looking for a talented Oracle HCM Cloud Lead – Benefits to join our team! This is a full-time position that will provide subject matter expertise, advisory and implementation support in the areas of Oracle HCM Cloud. The interested candidate must be open to travel during the most critical phases of the project implementation lifecycle.

• Serve as the Functional Expert and Trusted Advisor in the implementation and support of Oracle HCM Benefits.
• Gain the trust of the client, project team members and leadership team to ensure a successful project delivery
• Provide best practice guidance on leading recruitment and onboarding modern business processes so that clients can transform their business using HCM.
• Lead design and discovery workshops to define business requirements. Conduct gap analysis between delivered functionality, client requirements and recommend solutions
• Gather and interpret business requirements to appropriate configurations of the Core HR, Workforce Compensation, Benefits modules. Lead the testing events associated with the project delivery cycle.
• Stay abreast of leading industry trends and Oracle features to give the clients the best solutions for their needs.
• Ability to understand integrations with other modules with Oracle suite of modules.
• Ability to work with other team members in configuring the Fusion Cloud Applications
• Ability to travel during the most critical phases of the project, if requested
• Coordinate efforts between other business lines and IBM consultants to implement the best solution for the client.
• Work with the Technical Practice to provide guidance on data conversions, integrations and reporting.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience as an Oracle HCM Cloud Implementation Lead with current Benefits experience in a client facing, functional advisory and/or consulting role
• Minimum of 5 full life cycle HCM Cloud Implementations with a minimum of 3 full life cycle implementations solely focused on Benefits
• Current Oracle Cloud Certification in Payroll, Global HR and/or other HCM Cloud modules is ideal
• Proven ability to lead, manage and deliver full lifecycle projects through analysis, design, configuration, testing and cutover.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Tools such as HCM Extracts and HDL (highly preferred)
• Cross functional knowledge in other Oracle HCM modules (ORC, Time & Labor, Payroll); highly preferred
