Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an Oracle Cloud Architect to design cloud-first software architectures that meet client needs and leverage OCI. You’ll help transform mission-critical applications and guide cloud migrations across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You’ll work with industry leaders to inform strategy, recommend tools, and ensure security and governance. The role requires 5+ years in software with cloud experience, 3+ years on OCI, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software experience with a cloud-first development approach.
• 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud-native architecture patterns (Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata, security policies, and security groups).
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Experience creating advanced OCI solutions and deploying production geospatial solutions from concept to O&M.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of OCI enterprise solutions, or 9+ years without a degree.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software with a cloud-first development approach
• 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or CloudFormation
• Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Experience creating advanced OCI solutions
• Experience developing and deploying production geospatial solutions from concept to O&M
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions, or 9+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
• Experience designing solutions to enable migration from AWS to OCI
• Experience with OCI AI, ML and LLM offerings
• Experience designing OCI solutions optimized for geospatial workloads
• Experience leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments
• Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• OCI Certifications such as OCI Architect or OCI Developer Certifications
• IAT Level II certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
