Job description

Role: Principal Consultant Oracle CC&B Functional Consultant

Location: Remote with some travel as needed

Looking for a Senior Oracle CC&B Functional Consultant with a strong utility domain background, capable of playing a team lead role and possessing industry-specific expertise to provide business-driven consulting to prospects and existing customers. This role involves implementing CIS solutions for Electric or Gas Utilities, specifically Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) and Customer to Meter (C2M). Responsibilities include planning workshops, requirement elicitation, creating design documents, and collaborating with technical teams to develop solutions as per client needs. Experience in North American Utilities markets and industry trends is essential. Consulting and techno-functional experience are preferred.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the field for each year of education.
• At least 11 years of IT experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 8 years implementing CIS solutions for Utilities.
• Experience with full-cycle implementations of utility solutions (Power/Water/Sewer) using Oracle CC&B, including AS IS, To Be models, CRPs, and fit/gap analysis.
• Familiarity with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), Data Model, Web Services, and BPEL services.
• Experience in US regulated and de-regulated markets.
• Leadership experience managing development teams and working with client teams/SMEs throughout project cycles.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
• Experience in a global delivery environment and business development for Oracle solutions like CC&B/C2M.
• Proficiency in RICEFW components and conducting functional workshops, demos, and requirements mapping.
• Ability to develop functional design documents, configure CC&B packages, and guide end-to-end solution delivery.
• Understanding of CIS systems and meter-to-cash functionalities.
• Capability to mentor teams and resolve issues during support/Post-Go Live phases.
