About the Company

This Dallas-based industry leader has an immediate full-time opportunity for an Oracle Financials Applications Manager. Can work fully remote from anywhere in Texas. On a quarterly basis, or as needed, may need to travel to Dallas to work in the office.

About the Role

This position requires a combination of functional (70%) and technical (30%) skills with a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role is technical and managerial, and will be responsible for managing consultants and third parties. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Candidates Must be able to work without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Requires experience overseeing financial systems and processes.
• Managing functional analysts to ensure resolution of system issues.
• Leading business teams to implement system enhancements.
• Providing project management oversight.
• Experience supporting Oracle-based solutions.
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of the functionality of Oracle Cloud ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science.
• Master's Degree preferred.

Required Skills

• 5-7+ years Oracle R12 Full life-cycle conversion, implementation, and post-production support.
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and developer tools.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including ability to use Microsoft Office desktop tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Ability to work independently once properly trained.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
