Job summary

GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. seeks a software developer to build and configure the Domestic Retail WMS application within the A&F Digital and Technology team. You will analyze, design, estimate, code, configure, test, and maintain performance.

You will work with the tech lead and extended team across the SDLC, combining development of APEX and PL/SQL programs with business logic derived from requirements, user stories, or technical designs.

Qualifications

• . Required 4-year IT-related degree.
• . 3+ years of development and support experience with Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
• . Experience with Retail WMS applications, preferably RDM or Oracle Retail.
• . Experience supporting custom development, Oracle package applications, and interfaces.
• . Strong SQL, APEX, PL/SQL, SQL Tuning, Oracle Forms, JSON, and Unix commands skills.
• . Strong problem solving, analysis, design, and development abilities.
• . Experience writing and interpreting both high-level and detailed designs.
• . Familiarity with relational databases and data models.
• . Ability to navigate technical issues and assess risk.
• . Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GitLab for tooling.
• . Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to develop changes to the Domestic Retail WMS application.
• Collaborate with co-located and remote team members to design, build, and unit test the WMS application.
• Discuss and understand business problems and communicate technical designs.
• Develop APEX applications and PL/SQL programs based on business requirements and user stories.
• Document code and designs, create merge requests, and review deliverables with the team.
• Write test cases, document results, and provide testing support during testing phases.
• Deliver quality code with minimal defects and quickly resolve defects that arise.
