• 4+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience in writing stored procedures and advanced queries.
• 4+ years in APEX development and Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle DBMS and experience with performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with tech lead for deployments and generate necessary reports.

Job description

Our client is seeking an individual to join our team who has experience with APEX to support the upgrade and development of a new system. Strong PL/SQL skills are required for writing scripts, performing data pulls and overall data analysis. A solid understanding of the features within Oracle’s 19c database is preferred. This position may be involved in any or all facets of developing application system such as defining user requirements, system impacts, analysis, coding, testing, deployments, documentation, etc. Tasks to be accomplished include: Working with the tech lead to develop APEX in an Agile/SCRUM environment, reviewing selected documentation of the existing systems to become familiar with requirements/functionality, aid in production deployments, and generate reports as needed. This role is remote, however this candidate will have to be onsite in Harrisburg, PA on their first day to receive their IT equipment.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

4+ years of Oracle PL/SQL writing stored procedures, functions and advanced queries

4+ years’ experience developing in APEX Java development experience

Experience with REST APIs Sound Knowledge of Oracle DBMS

Performance Tuning, Debugging and testing SQL queries, views and stored procedures written in Oracle and SQL Server

Compensation: $50/hr to $60/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
