OR Terminal Cleaning Attendant / Environmental Services / FT/2nd and 3rd Shift

Under the supervision of the EVS Director the Environment OR Terminal Clean Attendant is responsible for the terminal cleaning of the OR Suites which includes mopping and/or wet vacuuming of floors, cleaning of anesthesia carts and equipment, patient monitors, OR beds, resusable table straps, OR bed attachments, positioning devices, patient transfer devices, overhead procedures lights, tables and mayo stands, mobile and fixed equipment, storage cabinets, supply carts and furniture, light switches, door handles and push plates, telephone and mobile communication devices, computer accessories, chairs, stools and step stools, and trash and linen receptacles. This individual performs a variety of routine cleaning functions and assignments as directed by the EVS Lead or Director. The OR EVS Terminal Clean Attendant maintains the hospital in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition, adhering to EVS standards outlined in the EVS Policy and Procedure Manual.

Qualifications:

• Completion of high school education or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Hospital experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Possess the ability to follow established EVS Policy and Procedures in performing daily tasks.
• Possess the ability to perform routine repetitive task which may include, cleaning of patient rooms, offices, rest rooms, provide floor care, porter linens and trash throughout hospital, and detail cleaning.
• Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition.
• Possess the ability to perform periodic or situational duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
