We are seeking a(an) OR Technician First Asst PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direct supervision of the surgeon, prepared and maintains the surgical area, scrubs and assist the physician during procedures.

Assist the RN in technical functions related to patient care in the OR, the training of others, and functions as a resource within the department.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate of CAAHEP and the State of Florida Surgical Assistant Program, OR Medical School Graduate, OR allied health professional having completed 2250 hours of surgical rotation.
  • Current CFA having completed 350 cases. Two years of experience within the last four years.
  • Current Certification as a First Assist.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Critical thinking, services excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions in English, ability to follow verbal instructions and PC skills.
