Qualifications

Job description

In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Completion or Graduate from an accredited Technical program.

Preferred:

N/A

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):

• Current BLS required (American Heart Association).
• Successful completion of all Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation.

Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):

• 36 Hour Work Week.
• Day.
• Full-Time.
• Obstetric OB tech 7a-7:30pm.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient’s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative.
• In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
