Sharp HealthCare in California seeks an Operating Room Technician to prepare the OR and assist the surgeon in a scrub role for diverse procedures. This role reports to the Shift Supervisor and works under RN supervision for patients from infancy to adult.
The ideal candidate has 2 years of OR tech experience in acute care and holds AHA BLS and CST credentials. The position offers union benefits under the SEIU contract and requires weekend/on-call as needed.

The Operating Room Technician is a care giver in the Operating Room whose responsibility is to prepare the Operating Room and assists the surgeon in a scrub role for all types of surgical procedures. Accountable to the Shift Supervisor/Unit Manager. Provides care under the licensure and direct supervision of a Registered Nurse for infants (0-1year of age), pediatrics (1-3 years of age), and adult (14 years of age and older) population.
