Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Northwest in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team as a scrub tech during procedures and coordinate sterile techniques with Circulator. You will help prepare the sterile field, manage instruments, and participate in turnovers while maintaining patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities include following protocols, communicating professionally with the care team, and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Surgical Technologist certification required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in intraoperative scrub role during procedures.
• Prepare and maintain a well-organized sterile area; assist with room turnovers.
• Work with OR team and communicate professionally to ensure patient safety.
• Follow HIPAA and organizational policies; support continuous quality improvement.
