OrthoArkansas is seeking an Operating Room Surgical Technologist to support sterile technique and scrub duties before, during, and after surgeries in Little Rock.

You will collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and staff to ensure patient safety, manage instrument trays, and assist in room turnover and supply re-stocking.

The role requires completion of an accredited program, CPR certification, and ongoing commitment to sterile processing standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completed an accredited surgical technologist program.
• 12 to 18 months of related experience or training.

Responsabilités

• Set up sterile fields according to the center’s established policies.
• Scrub, gown, and glove for surgeries.
• Assist the RN Circulator in turning over operating rooms between cases.
• Operate sterilization equipment safely.
• Restock ORs and identify supplies that need to be reordered to maintain a well-equipped surgical environment.
• Interact with surgeons regarding the pricing of new instruments and patient care items.
