Job summary

Position Overview

United Health Services (UHS) Chenango Memorial Hospital is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated OR Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic surgical team. In this vital role, you will play a crucial part in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care within our fast-paced operating room environment. As an OR Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, meticulously ensuring all surgical instruments are sterile and readily available, and providing essential assistance to surgeons and nurses throughout various procedures. Your contributions directly support optimal patient outcomes and the smooth operation of the surgical suite. Under general direction, observes and practices sterile technique, maintains asepsis, anticipates and assists the surgeon as needed. Actively participates in patient care and safety. Utilizes OR supplies conservatively and operates as a team member of the OR staff. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Operating Room, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Primary Work Shift: Day Compensation Range: $25.12 - $35.87 per hour, depending on experience You will be eligible for benefits if you are hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours.

Sign-on Incentives

Up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus for candidates who meet eligibility criteria.
