Job summary

Bucks County Surgical Suites Highpoint in Pennsylvania is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide patient care during surgical cases. The OR RN will position, prep, and circulate the case, ensuring safety and adherence to nursing standards.

Responsibilities include assessing and planning for patients of all ages in the OR, communicating with physicians and team members, and supporting the Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in PA.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS required upon hire and within one year of hiring date.
• Ability to Scrub and Circulate as needed.
• One year experience in intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient, prep the patient, and circulate the case.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for all age patients in operating room.
• Communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members.
• May serve on committees, participating in quality improvement audits and projects.
