Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure required with current state licensure and/or compact licensure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Documents assessments accurately and reports changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the team.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities.
• Provides patient and family education on conditions and discharge care.
• Implements infection control protocols to prevent infections.
• Operates and monitors medical equipment as needed.
