Job summary

Physicians Regional Healthcare System in Naples, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, partnering with physicians and the care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will administer medications, monitor patient status, educate patients and families, and participate in quality improvement and infection control efforts in a busy acute-care setting.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN license in state or compact state license is required.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and policies.
• Assesses patients, documents findings, and reports changes to the care team.
• Administers medications and monitors for adverse effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Collaborates on developing and evaluating individualized care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
