Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate OR surgery schedules to maximize efficient use of operating rooms, equipment, and staff.
• Gather information from physician offices to schedule surgeries per department guidelines and physician/patient needs.
• Assign operating suites and equipment and block times to optimize resource use.
• Ensure demographic, billing and insurance data are entered into EMR and coordinate with Patient Admitting to prevent delays.
