Job summary

MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA, is seeking a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (RN) to provide direct clinical patient care in a large regional health system serving Worcester to Boston.

The role entails assessing and planning per shift, supervising staff, supporting the CNO to ensure high-quality, safe care, and fulfilling HICS duties during emergencies. Requires graduation from state-approved nursing program and current licensure; CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a state approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
• Certification: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe, cost-effective nursing care to all patients.
• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients per shift.
• Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated.
• Support CNO to ensure high-quality, safe nursing care and resource management.
• Perform HICS responsibilities during emergencies and know hospital emergency codes.
