Job summary

BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE MEDICAL CENTER, MARBLE FALLS, TX is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time days shift. The RN will coordinate perioperative care, assess patients, and develop individualized plans using the Texas Nursing Practice Act guidelines.

A strong focus on patient safety and teamwork is essential. Qualification includes RN license and BLS with at least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in OR.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in operating room settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care in the Operating Room following BSWH models and Texas Nursing Practice Act.
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Coordinate perioperative care to ensure patient safety and timely workflow.
• Communicate effectively with the care team and families while maintaining patient privacy.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and monitor responses to interventions.
