Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to provide specialized support in a busy OR environment. You will perform scrub and circulator duties, assist with room setup, and ensure proper sterile technique throughout procedures.

The role requires RN licensure in North Carolina, prior OR experience, and a preferred Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Candidates with inactive licenses must complete a refresher course and reinstate promptly.

Qualifications

• Prior operating room experience.
• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; refresher/reinstatement if license inactive.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ORs with surgical instruments, supplies, medications, and equipment.
• Maintain sterile fields according to infection control standards.
• Function as a scrub and/or circulator during surgeries.
• Assist with room setup and anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
