Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as an OR Resource Coordinator in the ENT service line. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the service leader and coordinate workflow in the operating room, including room setup and turnover.

This full-time day shift role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure, and CPR certification, with a minimum of 1 year OR RN experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing program.
• Licensure: Active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year OR RN experience.
• Certifications: CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of patients.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Organize and implement service in the assigned OR specialty.
• Coordinate workflow including room setup and turnover.
• Relieve for breaks and lunches and provide department support.
• Assist orientation of new coworkers with leadership.
