Position Summary

As an OR RN at GW Hospital, you will deliver direct patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe, sterile, and efficient environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary surgical team to provide outstanding care and uphold the highest standards of patient safety.

Responsibilities
  • Circulate or scrub for surgical procedures across multiple specialties
  • Perform pre-op assessments and intra-op monitoring
  • Maintain aseptic techniques and enforce infection control policies
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs
  • Document patient status and surgical events accurately and in real-time
  • Provide emotional support to patients and families pre- and post-procedure
  • Participate in staff training and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required:
