Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse RN for the Operating Room. This PRN position offers day shifts and the chance to provide safe, competent nursing care within our policy framework.

The RN will lead the healthcare team, uphold Service Excellence, and coordinate with colleagues to deliver high-quality perioperative care. Florida license and BLS certification are required, ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required at start date depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Manometry experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• ACLS as of start date for most units; new grads within 90 days.
• NRP as of start date for Women’s Center; inexperienced L&D nurses within 90 days.
• NIH within 90 days for ICU/PCU.
• PALS and CPI within 90 days for ER.
• PALS as of start date for PACU.
