Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room in El Paso, Texas. This full-time role provides direct clinical patient care, supervises staff as needed, and coordinates patient care within the surgical service.

Evening shifts and hospital policies govern daily responsibilities and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with 1 year of RN experience for PRN status and ACLS/PALS/NRP training as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year RN experience required for PRN status.
• ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP training as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care on a per-shift basis.
• Supervise staff to whom care is delegated.
• Coordinate and plan patient care within the medical regime.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Know and respond to hospital emergency codes and policies.
