Edward-Elmhurst Health in Elmhurst, IL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the OR on day shift. This full-time role includes 6:45a to 3:15p hours and on-call requirements across days, nights, and holidays.

The RN provides professional nursing care, assesses patient conditions, and collaborates with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. A BSN is preferred within 5 years, with active IL license and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher (BSN required within 5 years from start date).
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• ACLS within ninety days of start date.
• PALS within ninety days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Render professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
• Assess patients’ condition, recognize deviations, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress and record observations.
• Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Work as a team member to achieve unit goals.
