We are actively seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Springfield, IL. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic surgical team and provide high-quality care in a well-respected healthcare facility.

Job Details:

Location: Springfield, IL

Position Type: Travel RN – Operating Room

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day shift with on-call rotation

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Assist in surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety

Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records

Ensure all surgical equipment is prepared and functioning correctly

Requirements:

Active RN license (Illinois or compact)

Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience

BLS and ACLS certifications (required)

Strong clinical and communication skills

Familiarity with a range of surgical procedures and instruments
