Job summary

Purposelink Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to support a Torrance, CA surgical unit on a contract assignment in Sylmar location. The role focuses on perioperative care across pre, intra, and post‑op stages in a fast-paced environment.

You must hold a California RN license, have 1–2 years OR experience, and BLS/ACLS certification (CNOR preferred). Shifts are 12 hours; the contract lasts 8–13 weeks with potential extension, and pay is about $2,500+ per week

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required.
• 1–2 years' recent Operating Room experience.
• BLS and ACLS required; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care throughout pre‑op, intra‑op, and post‑op phases.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and comply with safety protocols.
• Prepare and manage instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes promptly.
• Document care in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and support staff.
